(The Post News)- The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a warning of scattered to widespread rain expected across large parts of the country on Friday, 28 November 2025.
SAWS Predicts 80% Rain in Other Parts of the Country
Forecasters say the northern and eastern regions face an 80% chance of rain, while central and coastal areas can expect a 60% likelihood of showers.

According to SAWS, thunderstorms and heavy rain is anticipated in several provinces. The public is urged to stay vigilant, drive cautiously and plan activities with the weather in mind.
In the Western Cape, damaging winds are expected to sweep through parts of the province. Posing risks to infrastructure, road users and coastal activities.
Yellow Level 4 Warning Issued for Thunderstorms
Authorities urge residents to watch official weather updates, avoid crossing flooded areas, and guarantee adequate safety measures as unstable conditions continue through the day.
