(The Post News)- Kylian Mbappé, Real Madrid’s striker and Italy national football team player, has been diagnosed with a thigh injury. Following examinations conducted by the teams’ medical department, Real Madrid confirmed the injury on Thursday.
In the Champions League’s sixth game, Mbappe put Real Madrid ahead of Atalanta, but he was substituted early because of an injury. After Tuesday’s game, Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti said that Mbappé’s hamstrings hurt a little. He further asserted that the injury did not seem serious; however, the following day would determine its seriousness. Mbappé could not sprint during the match, which is why they thought replacing him was the best decision.
A medical report provided by the club on Thursday established that the pain in his thigh is an injury. Real Madrid stated that following medical evaluation by its medical department, Mbappe’s left thigh was diagnosed with “thigh injury,” and the team will follow up on his recovery.
Reports claim that Mbappe will need to take around ten days off to fully recuperate from the injury, which means he won’t be going to the Liga match on Saturday against Rayo Vallecano. Mbappé, nevertheless, is also highly unlikely to play in the upcoming match when “Los Blancos” take on the Pachuca-Al Ahly winner in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup.
With three great scoring opportunities, including one in the second minute, the 25-year-old Frenchman enjoyed one of his best performances in the Madrid uniform since signing from Paris Saint-Germain last summer before pulling up.
