Matorokisi hit maker filling up Peter Mokaba Stadium- @ Makhadzi
( The Post News)- Makhadzi the award winning musician left her Limpopo fans with a stellar performance and night to be remembered. On her line up she had artists such as Nkosazana Daughter, Kharishma and DJ Maphorisa to name a few.
Makhadzi’s followers made sure to fill up the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, to show support on her second “One Woman Show.” Her first one woman show was in Botswana in which she performed mesmerizing aeriel stunts. At the start of her second show, Makhadzi made a triumphant entrance that left the audience in awe.
Like many artists, Makhadzi did experience some pressing competition. Ticket sales for the Chris Brown show opened in October. With her concert only months away, and the R&B rapper coming to South Africa, her sales were not what she expected. And while she was left feeling frustrated with the rate at which her tickets were sold, loyal fans did not disappoint.
Supporters came in numbers and made sure to support Matorokisi. The
Limpopo Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba conveyed a sense of pride on Makhadzi
filling up Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Other Makhadzi colleagues in the music industry also shared their proud comments. Cassper Nyovest exclaiming his respects. “Wow wow wow wow !!!! Congratulations to Makhadzi for filling up Peter Mokaba Stadium.” Sho Madjozi emphasized on Makhadzi’s journey, “This is not a label; this is sheer ambition, sheer drive
and power. An artist that is for and by the people.’’
Makhadzi completed her show without any hiccups. One of her supporters, @Talklessers showcased his admiration towards the musician and her perseverance. “Makhadzi has managed to fill Peter Mokaba stadium; she has done well, even though her management didn’t organize the event very well. Keep going Queen.’
