Meghan Markle’s ex-Spotify coworkers ‘had a nickname for her when she was on the warpath’, royal expert claims. @meghan.markle.official fan page shared via Instagram.
(The Post News)– Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, had a secret nickname among her former Spotify coworkers. According to UK royal correspondent Neil Sean, the Duchess was dubbed “Eva” by staff members who worked on her podcast, Archetypes.
So, why “Eva”? The nickname is inspired by the 1955 film “Queen Bee,” starring Joan Crawford. In the movie, Crawford plays Eva Phillips, a manipulative and cunning character. Sean claims that Spotify staff used the nickname as a warning signal to let others know when Meghan was “on the warpath.”
According to Sean, the nickname “Eva” was not a term of endearment; instead, it reflected the staff’s feeling of Meghan as someone who could be difficult to work with. Sean explained that the nickname was used because, like the Crawford character, Meghan could “sting her victims to pieces.” Interestingly, Meghan was apparently unaware of the nickname during her time at Spotify. The Duchess has not publicly commented on the nickname or the allegations made by Spotify staff.
The revelation of Meghan’s secret nickname has sparked a heated debate about the Duchess’s behaviour and work ethic. While some have defended Meghan, others have criticised her for being difficult to work with. The Duchess’s representatives have dismissed the allegations, calling them “distressing” for Meghan and Prince Harry.
