(The Post News) Dundee, KwaZulu-Natal – A violent incident has shaken the Mzomusha area in Dundee, northern KwaZulu-Natal, leaving four people dead after a shooting rampage.
According to police reports, two gunmen arrived at a house in the area and opened fire on two men, aged 31 and 35, who were standing outside. The victims were killed instantly.
The suspects then entered the house, where they demanded money and drugs from a 29-year-old woman. A scuffle ensued, resulting in the woman being shot multiple times. A 14-year-old girl was also shot and killed at the scene.
Two people, a woman and a man, survived the attack. The man reportedly fled the room after hearing the initial gunshots, while the woman remained inside the house.
Police are investigating the incident, with robbery suspected as the primary motive. However, a drug-related feud cannot be ruled out.
The incident has raised concerns about safety and security in the area, and authorities are working to apprehend the suspects and piece together the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
