(The Post News) – The South African national football club (Bafana Bafana) is gearing up for the June Friendlies. The team is expected to start training on the 1st of June 2025. They will meet at the Johannesburg camp and travel to Polokwane the same day.
Two fixtures are underway, with Tanzania clashing on Friday, 06th June, at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Limpopo. Then on Tuesday, 10 June, they will lock horns with Mozambique at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria, Gauteng.
Coach Hugo Broos has not yet confirmed his squad. He only named his preliminary squad for these June friendlies; he is expected to name his 26 men for the two upcoming games.
Polokwane Municipality is also thrilled to host the match. It also confirmed on a Facebook post that Premier Panyaza Lesufi came to confirm the readiness of the stadium, especially the grass. “The real star is the grass that’s been trending harder than the matchday hashtags,” stated the Facebook post.
