(The Post News)– Kaizer Chiefs has to announce that Marketing and Commercial Director Jessica Motaung has been appointed to FIFA’s Committee for Men’s Football Stakeholders Competition. Her tenure will span four years, commence this year, and conclude in 2029.
The announcement of Jessica’s appointment was made during the 47th CAF Ordinary General Assembly, held in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, on Monday, 6 October. Kaizer Chiefs Executive Chairman, Dr. Kaizer Motaung, described the achievement as a fitting acknowledgment of Jessica’s hard work, expertise, and the positive mark she has made on both South African and African football.

“This is another well-deserved recognition for Jessica,” Dr. Motaung said. “We are extremely proud to see her representing Kaizer Chiefs, South Africa, and the continent at such a high level in world football. She has our full support, and we have no doubt that she will make a strong impact in her new role.”
In response, Jessica expressed heartfelt gratitude to the chairman and everyone at Kaizer Chiefs for their ongoing encouragement. “I’m truly excited about this new chapter,” she said. “It’s an opportunity to keep learning, sharing knowledge, and contributing to football development across Africa. I also want to thank the PSL under Dr. Irvin Khoza, SAFA led by Dr. Danny Jordaan, the African Clubs Association chaired by Eng. Hersi Said, and CAF under Dr. Patrice Motsepe, whose leadership has helped transform African football.”
Jessica’s journey in continental football began in 2022 when CAF appointed her to its Women’s Football Standing Committee. Two years later, she was named Deputy Chairperson of the CAF Africa Clubs Association (ACA), a position she continues to hold with excellence. Her latest appointment further cements her growing influence and leadership in the game.
