(The Post News)- Durban’s renowned uShaka Marine World pulled out all the stops to celebrate and observe Youth Day in style.
From friday, June 14 to Monday June 17, the marine theme park is offering special discounted entrance fees of just R150, granting access to all its famous four parks: Wet ‘n Wild, Sea World, Dangerous Creatures, and uShaka Kids’ World.
The weekend was a resounding success for families and friends who wanted to celebrate Youth Day with loads of fun activities.
Highlights included dolphin and seal shows, interactive educational sessions on marine conservation, and even dancing competitions with prizes that included up-close encounters with the marine animals.
Kids had a blast swimming with their loved ones and learning about the importance of protecting our oceans. It was truly a fun-filled and enriching experience for all.
The weekend was a huge success regardless of the place being packed; there was no one who was injured, and no kids were reported missing. The security made sure that they served the public with the best service throughout the weekend.
Shaka Marine World’s Youth Day celebrations will be remembered as one of the best, filled with memories to cherish for a lifetime. Many thanks to the team for organising such an unforgettable weekend.
Youth Day commemorates bravery, tragedy, and an important moment in South Africa’s political history. Despite the hardships of the Soweto uprising, it stands as a worthy celebration for both young and seasoned individuals in today’s democratic South Africa.
