(The Post News) Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso admitted on Tuesday that he must learn to handle criticism and speculation. Stressing this amid speculations over his future at the club, as the Spanish giants navigate a rough patch in form.
Los Blancos have failed to win in their last three matches across all competitions, sparking reports of dressing-room unrest. Ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League clash at Olympiacos. Alonso said, “It’s demanding, that’s for sure, but I’m not the first coach to face this. I think a lot about how Carlo or Mou handled these situations. You have to know how to live with it, to have the drive and self-criticism needed too.”
