Brown University Shooting, Suspect Described
The suspect is described as approximately 5’8″ with a stocky build, wearing a mask and a dark two-tone jacket. Authorities released three new videos showing the person of interest walking through Providence, Rhode Island, hours before the shooting.
Police are pursuing a new lead based on photos and videos of the individual taken around 2 p.m. Saturday, hours before the attack. The FBI is urging anyone with information to come forward, and a tip line has been set up.
The shooting occurred during a busy time on campus, with students taking final exams. The gunman opened fire inside a classroom in the engineering building, getting off more than 40 rounds from a 9 mm handgun.
