In December last year, Britain Foreign Secretary David Cameron, said that “instead of just freezing that money, let’s take that money, spend it on rebuilding Ukraine”.
Peskov said in press conference that countries seize assets will never be left alone. When leaders of G-7 meet next month, they will discuss the frozen money which worth approximately $300 billion in the central Bank.
In a recent comment at World Economic Forum in Davos, Ukraine President Volodomyr Zelenskyy warned the leaders that if anyone think Putin will stop in Ukraine, that was a big mistake to think. He also said the security of Europe is at risk from Putin. He added that, “redirecting seized Russian assets to Ukraine is not only effective as punishment for the aggressor, but also quite fair”.
