Thomas Tuchel is Appointed as Next England Coach till the end of 2026 FIFA World Cup

(The Post News)- The rumors concerning the next England coach have ended. Thomas Tuchel will take over as England’s head coach on 1st of January, 2025, according to an announcement made by the English Football Association on Wednesday.

He signs the contract after the 2026 World Cup. Thomas Tuchel will serve as England’s new manager until after the 2026 World Cup, the English FA stated on Wednesday.

The German has a contract that runs until after the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. His most recent position was at Bayern Munich, which he left after upending ten years of Bavarian dominance in German football.

Before the March World Cup qualifications, on 1 January , 2025, he will begin coaching. The former Chelsea manager’s deputy will be Anthony Barry. following Gareth Southgate left England following Euro 2024, interim manager Lee Carsley took over.

Carsley has led England to three wins in the Nations League: two victories against Finland and the Republic of Ireland, and one defeat to Greece. For the next two Nations League games against Greece and Ireland, Carsley will continue to be the team’s manager.
