(The Post News)- Former MLB star Rico Carty, known as “Beeg Boy,” passed away on November 24, 2024, at the age of 85 in Atlanta, Georgia. A legend of the sport, Carty hails from San Pedro de MacorÃs in the Dominican Republic and was one of the earliest stars from his baseball-rich homeland.
