(The Post News)- Following his fall on Sunday afternoon, Edoardo Bove is making good progress, according to Fiorentina goalkeeper David de Gea. David de Gea, the goalkeeper for Fiorentina, stated on Monday that Edoardo Bove, a teammate who fell during Sunday’s Serie A game against Inter, is “feeling better.”
Edoardo Bove is in critical condition at Careggi University Hospital in Florence, where the Spanish goalie visited and briefly informed the media that the player was conscious and feeling better. Coach Raffaele Palladino and other teammates visited the injured player throughout the morning.
Bove was stabilized in the intensive care unit and spent the night under pharmacological sedation after he was able to emerge from cardiorespiratory arrest with medical aid and reach the hospital breathing.
Serious injury to the central nervous and cardiorespiratory systems was ruled out by preliminary tests conducted on Sunday afternoon. Fiorentina, meantime, has set up a training session for Monday afternoon in anticipation of their Coppa Italia matchup with Empoli, which is still scheduled barring the player’s recovery.
