(The Post News)- South African music fans are in for a treat in the new year as Canadian DJ and producer Kaytranada headlines the inaugural Milk + Cookies Festivals.Â
The Grammy Award-winning DJ will showcase his world-renowned fusion of R&B, house, funk, soul, and dance/electronic music on January 5th and 11th, 2025, in Cape Town and Johannesburg as part of his current Timeless Tour.Â
These events will be the festival’s first international appearance, providing a vibrant blend of technology, music, and culture for enthusiasts and artists alike.Â
The festival forms part of the very first Milk + Cookies Music Week in South Africa, running from December 31st, 2024, to January 11th, 2025, kicking off in The Mother City.Â
South Africans can expect a melting pot of intercultural experiences, parties, and fashion pop-ups, while artists can take advantage of the workshops and panels geared towards educating on artist development as well as collaborate with US artists through songwriting camps and listening sessions.Â
