One survivor said, “The water came into our homes, yards making us leave our homes. Even our gardens have been flooded, our livestock was swept away. We don’t know how we’ll survive, we escaped with our families to save our lives and left everything behind.”
Another survivor added, “My goats and cattle were swept away; the rest are dying because of the floods. We need help with food and blankets. Our situation is not ideal, the mosquitoes are biting us, we can’t sleep.”
